The Big Shot is the default primary weapon for the Demo class. It fires damaging missiles in an arc, which can be used to an advantage, like shooting over walls.
Launches a giant missile out at a straight trajectory.
~ Official Battle Bears Gold description
Usage[]
The Big Shot is the Demo's default primary weapon, and thus utilises standard explosives to set the precedent for the class' play style. When fired, it releases a black bullet-like missile that moves in an arc. When this missile comes into contact with any surface or player, it will explode, damaging any opposing players within its AoE (Area of Effect). The Big Shot has 6 ammuntion and a moderate rate of fire, meaning that players have room to miss, but must also be wary of the cooldown between shots, especially when the Big Shot deals a relatively small amount of damage. The projectiles released arc as they travel through the air, and can be used to air higher up places or to attack over obstacles. The Big Shot's main weakness is its low damage and the difficulty some face overcoming the arc of its projectiles.
Equipment[]
The following Equipment affects the Big Shot:
Equipment | Effect |
---|---|
Explosions +1 | + 2.5 damage |
Explosions +2 | + 5 damage |
Ammo +1 | + 1 bullets |
Ammo +2 | + 2 bullets |
Trivia[]
- The projectiles fired from the Big Shot resembles Bullet Bill, an enemy in the Super Mario series.
- Despite the fact that its description says it launches its projectiles "...at a straight trajectory.", they have quite a significant arc.
