The Shield appears as a pick-up in Battle Bears Gold. Upon collection, four green

A player with shields

shields will circle around the player, making them immune to damage for 10 seconds (they can still die by falling off a stage). Some Status Effects, including movement-impairing effects, can still affect the player during this time, but no damage will be taken. When the player respawns, they have the shields for 4.5 seconds (to discourage spawn killing). 

Trivia

• There is currently a glitch which allows two players who grab the Shields at almost the exact same time to both get the invincibility it offers. This is most likely a result of lag.
• There was also a glitch in which the Shields at the Shield spawner do not disappear, meaing standing over it will give player's invincibility.
