The Grenader is the default primary weapon for the Assault class in Battle Bears Gold.

Got a weak arm? Fear not! This honey of a weapon does the throwing for you. Now you can sit back and relax while pelting your enemies with explosives from afar.

~ Official Battle Bears Gold description

The Grenader serves as the Assault class' default primary, and thus highly conforms to the class' high damaging, explosive play style. When fired, the Grenader shoots grenades in an arc. When these come into contact with a player or a surface, they will explode into a damaging, golden orb. It has an ammo clip of three and a 1 second rate of fire, meaning that it can be used frequently to quickly overcome enemies. When reloading this weapon, the barrel will look like it's charging like the Power Glove, but with strong golden light, eventually forming a golden orb. The projectile looks like it's set on fire with something else rotating or orbiting it, also emitting fire. This weapon is medium ranged, but can still fly long distances if aim at a significant angle. When it detonates upon contact with any solid surface, it will make a rather huge and bright blast that deals between 65-85 damage without the use of equipment or Propbearganda. Despite the obvious benefits of this kind of damage, the Grenader's large AoE, low arm position and considerable arc mean that suicide is a big risk for its user, especially when fighting at close to mid range.

The Grenader's main weakness is the large risk presented by unintentional self-harm. Even though the Assault class has 200 health at its base, some of this is sure to be blasted away when utilising the Grenader, leaving the player more vulnerable to enemy fire. Another considerable risk is its 5.25 second reload, where the player is extremely vulnerable and those fighting against an Assault with a Grenader should wait for them to exhaust their ammo before attacking.

The following Equipment affects the Grenader:

Equipment Effect
Ammo +1 + 1 bullets
Ammo +2 + 2 bullets
Explosions +1 + 5 damage
Explosions +2 + 10 damage

  • The grenades launched have a significant knockback effect when they hit airborne players.
  • In the beta version of Battle Bears Gold, it was tenatively called the "Grrnade Launcher".
